Ing. Bc. Lucie Vištejnová, Ph.D.
lucie.vistejnova@lfp.cuni.czWith a strong foundation in regenerative medicine and cellular biology, she leads the group’s quantitative histology efforts. Currently serving as the research lead for the Department of Histology and Embryology and head of the research group, she brings a distinguished professional background from both the private sector and academia. Leveraging her extensive expertise in design-based stereology and virtual microscopy, she focuses on the rigorous evaluation of the tissue-biomaterial interface.
Ing. Pavel Klein, Ph.D.
pavel.klein@lfp.cuni.czWith nearly three decades of expertise in veterinary medicine and pathophysiology, he leads the group’s preclinical research efforts. Currently the Head of the Animal Research and Care Facility at Charles University, he has a distinguished background in both the private sector and academia, developing complex animal models for wound healing, metabolic disorders, and systemic physiological responses.
Ing. Marek Kindermann, Ph.D.
marek.kindermann@lfp.cuni.czWith his background in biomedical engineering and physical chemistry, he leads the group’s data science and modelling efforts, specialising in the analysis of complex in vivo data using sophisticated biostatistical tools. He plays a central role in crafting advanced experimental designs. His work is fundamentally focused on bridging innovative material science with clinical therapy.
Ing. Jiří Dejmek, Ph.D.
jiri.dejmek@lfp.cuni.czWith a dual foundation in electrical engineering and biophysics, he leads the group’s efforts in experimental instrumentation and 3D printing. He specializes in creating interdisciplinary technological solutions and designing advanced biophysical monitoring systems for animal models. His unique technical expertise allows for the integration of custom-engineered hardware and software.
Bc. Iveta Paurová
iveta.zimova@lfp.cuni.czWith extensive experience as a clinical laboratory technician, she serves as the group’s essential Lab Manager, ensuring seamless daily operations. Her dual role within the Hemato‑Oncology Department at University Hospital Pilsen bridges our preclinical work with direct clinical insight. Her expertise includes contributing to cutting‑edge clinical trials, such as those on NK‑cell immunotherapy.
